About Services
1
General Wellness Massage
The most commonly requested massage type for maintaining stress reduction and tension relief. Pressure applications range from light to deep and techniques vary with treatment needs. Ideal for managing non-specific tension or relaxation.
2
Deep Tissue Massage
A massage method that relieves chronic, severe body tension and associated discomfort by outlining, tracing, and manipulating soft tissue “with the grain”. Massage strokes typically follow the direction of muscle fiber attachments and meet soft tissue resistances with deep, sustained pressure. Slow, steady, and intense bodywork.
3
Chair Massage
A massage administered while a client is fully clothed and sitting in a chair specially designed for seated massage treatment. This massage is ideal for clients "on the go", those that are chair or work-bound, or anyone with modesty or mobility concerns. Receive massage service and wellness support wherever you can comfortably sit.
4
Clinical Massage
Focused massage, tailored to relieve the physiological origins of pain. Pressure applications range from light to deep and techniques vary with treatment needs. Clinical massage utilizes whole-body, whole-person assessments, which may include a review of health history, manual examination, gait and/or posture analysis, range of motion actions, or other soft tissue tests, in coordinating the most beneficial, effective, and impactful client treatment. Clinical treatment aspires to remove the sources of bodily pain and dysfunction, to restore mind-body awareness, and to facilitate changes for the greater well-being of those seeking long-term pain relief and increased quality of life.
5
Asian Bodywork - Ashiatsu or Thai Massage
Ancient Asian healing methods that facilitate an overall increase of energetic flow, induce greater relaxation of the physical body, and restore a mind/body state of balance.
6
Elder Care - Geriatric Massage
A massage treatment that caters to the cares and needs of senior citizens, retirees, or anyone requiring an emphasis on comfort. Though the massage targets areas needing tension relief, the treatment emphasizes providing three kinds of touch -- compassionate touch, safe touch, and therapeutic touch. Each session provides mild socialization and supports connectivity for those bed and/or homebound. Ideal to supplement home-health care and serve as an additional wellness check via the comforting contact of a massage.
7
Kids Massage - For Minors Under 18
A massage tailored specifically for children and adolescents aka minors under the age of 18. Though the massage addresses stress and tension relief, the treatment emphasizes safe touch, establishing positive touch associations, encouraging self-care habits, and initiating wellness practices.
8
Pregnancy Massage - All Stages
A deeply comforting and relaxing massage experience for prenatal, perinatal, and postnatal mothers, and/or anyone needing to feel pampered and extra support throughout the massage.
9
Wellness Consultation
In-office consultation or virtual therapeutic service is provided as a way for clients to easily and/or remotely access instruction and support in pain reduction, stress management, and self-care methods of maintaining wellness. Pre-appointment consultations are vital in selecting appropriate service options and co-creating plans for care. Consultations are opportunities to discuss and clarify details so that both the client and therapist can make the best choices for treatment.
